The Fly of the month for January is The RZ Sparkle Crab. This month’s fly is called the Sparkle Crab. Don’t be fooled, very different from its cousin the Sparkle Shrimp. This is tied more compact but heavier and more bulky which means a redfish rooting around can not only see it but feel it. I came up with this pattern after fishing Louisiana for reds and they just did not feel the Sparkle Shrimp in the muddy water. This one made them come a swimming. Well, hope you had a great holiday and here comes the cold of January. What other jig would we spot light but the tried and true Latex Pompano Jig. It catches everything and is very durable. Add a piece of shrimp and you are in business. New for this year we are offering them in some different color combinations.
